Growing Better: The Upside of Stress
April 27 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am
Stress is bad, right? Well, a growing body of research shows that it actually doesn’t have to be. While stress is unavoidable, learning to recognize our personal stress signals and developing practical ways to respond is proven to mitigate the negative impacts of stress. Even more intriguing, by looking at your problems through a different lens, you’re slowly teaching yourself to be more resilient when you face adversity.
Join us via Zoom for the next learning session in our Growing Better series, The Upside of Stress. Dr. Ashley Bullock, a licensed clinical psychologist, Chief Psychologist at Modern Minds, and an assistant professor at MUSC will be our presenter.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore your own mindset toward stress, better understand your typical stress responses, learn some proven coping strategies, and begin changing your mindset toward stress.
